Terms of Use

1. About these terms

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Assistant Insider (the "Platform"). By requesting membership or signing in, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Membership requirements

  • Membership is open to working Executive Assistants, Chiefs of Staff, Personal Assistants and Family Office professionals supporting senior executives or principals.
  • Each application is reviewed personally. We verify your work email and LinkedIn profile before granting access.
  • You must provide accurate information and keep your profile up to date.
  • Accounts are personal and non-transferable. You must not share your login credentials.
  • We reserve the right to decline an application or revoke membership at our discretion, particularly where eligibility cannot be verified.

3. Platform standards

Assistant Insider is a private platform for Executive Assistants to build and organise their own trusted intelligence and discover intelligence from other verified Executive Assistants. Members agree to:

  • Behave respectfully and professionally toward other members and the suppliers discussed.
  • Treat the platform as confidential. Do not screenshot, republish or share member contributions outside the network.
  • Not impersonate any other person or misrepresent your role or employer.
  • Not use the Platform to harass, defame, threaten or discriminate against any individual or business.
  • Not use the Platform for spam, marketing, recruitment of members, or commercial promotion of suppliers.

4. Recommendation and experience guidelines

Recommendations and experiences are the opinions and professional intelligence of individual members, not endorsements or assessments by Assistant Insider.

  • Recommendations and experiences must be based on genuine professional experience, not paid placements or supplier-provided content.
  • Do not submit recommendations or experiences on behalf of suppliers, agencies or third parties with a commercial interest in the listing.
  • Ratings, descriptions, use cases, “would recommend again” signals and other details must be your honest professional opinion.
  • Do not include the personal details of clients, principals or employers.
  • We may edit, hide or remove any contribution that breaches these guidelines or that we consider unsuitable for the Platform.

5. Content ownership and licensing

You retain ownership of the original content you submit (recommendations, experiences, ratings, notes and supporting text). By submitting content to the Platform, you grant Assistant Insider a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reformat and share that content with other approved members for the purposes of operating and improving the Platform. We may keep an anonymised version of your contributions if you close your account, so the collective network value is preserved.

Private notes saved inside your collections remain visible only to you and are not shared with other members.

6. Platform access and termination

  • We may suspend or terminate access at any time, with or without notice, where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached or where membership eligibility no longer applies.
  • You may close your account at any time by contacting us.
  • On termination, your access to member content ends immediately. The data-handling rules in our Privacy Policy apply to your remaining data.

7. Disclaimers

Recommendations, experiences, ratings, use cases and other intelligence on the Platform represent the opinions and professional intelligence of individual members, not endorsements or assessments by Assistant Insider. Assistant Insider does not independently verify or audit suppliers and does not guarantee the accuracy, currency or reliability of information on the Platform, or the suitability, quality, safety, legality or availability of any supplier.

Images displayed on the Platform may be illustrative or representative and may not depict the listed supplier, venue, product or service.

Supplier information and member experiences reflect a point in time and may become outdated as suppliers, services, ownership, pricing, staffing, standards or availability change. You should exercise your own professional judgement and make any checks you consider appropriate before engaging a supplier.

Any engagement or contract with a supplier is between you or your employer and that supplier. Assistant Insider is not a party to that arrangement and is not responsible, subject to applicable law, for the acts, omissions, products or services of any third-party supplier.

Aggregated signals such as “Other EAs say it's good for” are compiled from member-contributed opinions and do not represent an independent assessment by Assistant Insider.

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, conditions and representations, whether express or implied. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Assistant Insider will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages arising from your use of the Platform. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify members of material changes by email or via an in-product notice before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform after the changes constitutes acceptance.
